We do not breed often, and we do so very selectively.

Ch Ming Yu's Dark Little Secret, who can be seen on our "Gals" page, was bred to Ch. Kasu's The Fire Inside "Gusto" who can be seen on our "Guys" page. Six beautiful pups were born in late July 2003.

This Champion horsecoat to Champion horsecoat breeding has produced 4 girls and two boys. The boys are fawn horsecoats, one with Gus's distinctive head. The girls are a fawn horse, black horse, black brush and redfawn brush. Breeding for correct and healthy dogs, we combined Champion lines with longevity behind them and look forward to great things from these pups, whether in the show ring, or curled up on someone's couch!

All Kasu puppies come with health guarantees and written contracts, provisions that, if they can not be kept by their new owners AT ANY TIME DURING THE LIFE OF THE DOG, they are to come home to Kasu. We selectively breed, and therefore are VERY selective of potential homes.

Because I do not often have litters, I am happy to suggest other quality breeders (who I would do business with) to prospective owners.

All our Shar-Pei are AKC registered. BEAR IN MIND that AKC registration does NOT guarantee quality. Kasu stands firm in the opinion that Shar-Pei should ONLY be purchased from breeders who belong to the CSPCA, who offer a written contract, who offer you names and numbers of others who have purchased dogs from them, who screen their dogs for health defects and who promise to take the dog back if you are ever unable to keep the dog.NEVER BUY A SHAR-PEI FROM A PET STORE. The registration papers are only as good as the breeder.DEAL WITH A CSPCA MEMBER BREEDER WHO YOU TRUST.
