I added this "Must Mention" page for several of the dogs who, over the years, have had profound influence and/or earned titles. I feel that I must mention these dogs, honor their contribution to my life, my love of the breed and my knowledge.
"Auggie"
is now waiting for me at 'Rainbow Bridge'.
CSPCA Ch Sooner's Aw Gee Whiz Kasu, Auggie, was the repeat breeding of Mizzou Mascot. While not as flashy as her sister, she had a cave black mouth, perfect single tracking movement, sweetness and produced champions in nearly all her litters. Many of my current dogs are down from her.
Augie left us at 15 years of age.
'Sootsie'

Tzo-Tzo's Sootsie of Kasu, ROM, 1983-1995. Sootsie was the foundation of my kennel, my first brood bitch, and what a great girl! An Argie daughter out of Mi-Te-Man's sister, her powerful build, sharp intelligence and incredible front were passed onto her children, many of whom became champions. The ROM after her name signifies her Register of Merit status as a producer of Champions. She was a great influence on my kennel and the breed. We lost her to cancer at 12 years of age.
'Ace'

CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Ace of Spades, 1984-1989, my first Bred-By Champion, he was my baby boy. From my first litter (all of whom became champions) Ace had a rough start. We lost a sister to a parvo like virus at 10 weeks and pulled him back from the brink of death through strong medications that would, at the age of five, lead to kidney failure. Forever in my heart, he was my "Faceman".
Ace's Champion sisters: CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Knight Angel Tzo Tzo was owned by JoAnn Leistner and CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Teedoe Mar-Bo was owned by Marge and Bob Calltharp. Ace, Angel and TeeDoe were the survivors of my first ever litter, and all three finished and produced wonderful pups.
CSPCA Ch Kasu's Deuce of Spades, a repeat breeding of Ace's litter, Deuce could go 3 years without seeing me, and immediately remember me the next time he saw me. Sweet boy.
CSPCA Ch. China Red Beau, another Champion Sootsie son
CSPCA Ch Blackstone Bamboo of Marbo, an Odie granddaughter
CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Zen Tu Zoos of Klass, among the finest dogs I've produced, he was the only champion son of "Scotty", seen elsewhere on this website.
CSPCA Ch. KC's Kasu's Firestone, an Auggie son
CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Pop The Cork, an Auggie daughter
AKC Ch.Kasu's Sarai My Princess, an Auggie daughter
CSPCA Ch Hei-Te-Fo PT Barnum, incredibly sweet Odie son
AKC ptd/CSPCA Ch Kasu's First Klass Tourist, exquisite Barney granddaughter, a top winning show girl
CSPCA Ch Klass Act Felin Fine Kasu, the cutest puppy I've ever seen
CSPCA Ch Osage's Sassafras of Kasu, an elegant Barney daughter
CSPCA Ch Kiper's Midnight Express, the ultimate Junior Handlers dog
There were others, too numerous to mention, show dogs and pets, handling clients and others, who I honor in my heart by trying to do my best, always, for this breed. Thank you for taking the time to read these names and honor their memory.
