'ZOOBIE'

Kasu's Who's Zoomin' Who, "Zoobie", was born in 1991 out of CSPCA/AKC Ch. Chesapeake's Beammeupscotty X CSPCA Ch. Sooner's Aw Gee Whiz Kasu.  Zoobie is a sweet, gentle, championship pointed, harsh fawn horsecoat with champion kids and grandkids!
"Zoobie was a sweet and gentle soul who we lost to cancer at the age of nearly 11, in 2002

'FEVER'

CSPCA Ch. Kasu's Five Point Fever, CD, CSPCA CD, the one and only "Fever"!  When I lost his dad, Odie, I felt certain there would never be another dog to have my heart in that way.  Well....Fever just found his own place!  A five point red horsecoat with a wrinkly muzzle, he was not only charming, he was funny, bright, and entertaining!  Just ask the people who've gotten up bright and early to watch him compete (entertain) in obedience!

Born in 1987, he was from the first home bred Odie sired litter.  Once he earned his Championship, he needed something to do, so I started working him in obedience.  He earned a CD in CSPCA competition, and 2 legs toward his CDX when Shar-Pei went AKC and we started over!  He earned his first AKC CD leg at Nationals in Tulsa in 1993, a second leg by earning a ribbon at an allbreed show (not easy for a Shar-Pei to do!) and finally finished his AKC CD at the '94 Nationals!  He has attended CSPCA Nationals in 1988 (Bred by), 1989 (Breed), 1990 (Novice obedience), 1991 (Open and Team obedience), 1993 (Novice obedience), 1994 (Novice obedience), 1997 (Veteran obedience - 1st place! And Veteran sweeps) and 1999 (Veteran obedience).
On borrowed time since he was diagnosed with cancer in 1999, I lost my little man in January 2002, leaving a void that can never be filled.

'ODIE'

CSPCA Ch Tai-Pan's Odie of Kasu, CD, TT, ROM, OFA, CERF 1982-1990

Odie was my heart and soul, the foundation of Kasu, my first Shar-Pei, the most initialed Shar-Pei of his era, a top winning show dog in 1984, a Register of Merit stud dog with over 10 champion children.  For his time period, he had great movement and exquisite eyes.  He was intelligent, stubborn, a born show dog.  Atop a waterfall for the Barker cover May 1984, he was the first dual Champion in the MO/IL area.  So many firsts.  But always first in my heart.

'Scotty'

CSPCA Ch Sooner's Mizzou Mascot Kasu was our top winning Odie daughter.

Winner of BOS at the 1987 National Specialty Show, she was short but exquisite.  Her flowered tongue was no deterrent to victory, because the standard back then didn't consider it a major fault.  Unfortunately, she only lived 5 years, and only produced 1 show quality dog that outlived her.  But I still smile wistfully when I see her fat face in a picture.  Her favorite thing to do?  Carry shoes out from the closet and lay them around the living room.  She didn't chew on them.  Just liked them out.  1984-1989

"Wild"

AKC and CSPCA pointed Kasu's The Crowd Goes Wild, BULKY fawn horsecoat male born in 1989 from "Auggie" and KC's Tales From the Darkside, Wildman did not earn his CSPCA title because we "went" AKC.  He earned a 4 point major in AKC but...he was such a bulky horsecoat, he looked out of place in Open Horsecoat and wasn't a brushcoat!  So we opted to simply enjoy him as the goofy, sweet, manly-man he was!
1989-2001
